QTIC's Future Ready Workforce Consultation - Gold Coast
EVENT HOST: Queensland Tourism Industry Council

QTIC invites tourism, hospitality, travel and events businesses in the Gold Coast to take part in QTIC’s Future Ready Workforce Consultation – a practical, industry-led session focused on shaping the future workforce of our region.
This interactive 90-minute consultation brings together tourism-related business owners, managers, HR professionals and industry stakeholders to share insights, validate workforce challenges, and co-design solutions that support attraction, retention and capability development across the Gold Coast.
Your input will directly contribute to statewide workforce planning and help ensure regional priorities are reflected in future policy, funding and programs.

Kari Foundation Community Unity Day

Have you ever wanted to learn more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and community? To explore and immerse yourself in all things Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander? If so, then KARI Foundation’s Community Unity Event is the perfect way to do just that. Held annually in April, Unity Day provides a one-stop shop for members of the community to explore and experience Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture first hand. There will be stalls, business consultations, employment opportunities, cultural activities, and more – there’s something for everyone at this special event! So come and join us – let’s celebrate our culture and community together!

Multicultural Employment Expo
EVENT HOST: Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast
LOCATION: JW Marriot, Surfers Paradise
Explore new opportunities, connect with leading employers, and take the next step in your career. Following the outstanding success of last year’s event, which featured 53 stallholders and attracted over 1,000 job seekers, the Multicultural Employment Expo (MEExpo) is returning even bigger in 2026.
This year, host MCCGC will welcome 75 to 80 stallholders and an estimated 1,300 job seekers from the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.
MEExpo 2026 will offer a variety of employment support services and mini-workshops, including:
- Resume and cover letter writing
- Interview preparation
- How to use AI in your job search
- And much more!
Employers are invited to submit Expressions of Interest to participate as stallholders.
