Proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government, our role is to develop and lead local workforce initiatives, help employers find solutions, and create pathways to jobs, skills and training across the Gold Coast.

Connecting local needs with real solutions
Driven by locals, for locals, the Gold Coast RJC brings together business leaders, industry representatives, training providers, community organisations, and education stakeholders to identify the region’s workforce challenges — and to shape practical, long-term solutions.
We work closely with Queensland Government agencies to ensure local employers, jobseekers, and community groups are connected to the right programs, initiatives, and opportunities. At the same time, we help government understand what is happening on the ground by sharing local insights, emerging trends, and feedback from industry.
Supporting workforce growth in critical sectors
Our role is to coordinate and champion workforce and skilling initiatives that reflect the Gold Coast’s unique economic landscape.
This may include:
- convening working groups in key sectors
- trialling innovative events, programs, or resources
- improving pathways for under-utilised workforce cohorts
- supporting small, medium, and major employers with skilling and workforce solutions
- amplifying Queensland Government programs to ensure locals know what support is available.
By proactively identifying barriers and opportunities, we help ensure the region has the skills it needs to thrive — today and into the future.
A trusted source for workforce and skilling information
The Gold Coast RJC is a central point of connection for employers, educators, jobseekers, and community organisations. We aim to be the “go-to” local hub for:
- workforce insights
- training and skilling opportunities
- government programs and supports
- collaboration across sectors
- good-news stories and local success.
Our work ensures the community can rely on us to stay informed, connected, and supported as the region continues to grow.
Working together for a stronger Gold Coast
Through local leadership, strong partnerships, and community engagement, the Gold Coast Regional Jobs Committee is helping shape a skilled, resilient, and future-ready workforce — driving economic opportunity for the entire region.
